Tyler Leighton

Musical Theatre

Tyler is a skilled singer, dancer and choreographer and has worked as a professional musical theatre artist for over 17 years. He has performed locally in various productions including; The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia (Rainbow Stage), A Christmas Story (RMTC) and Heathers the Musical (WST) and will be seen in this summers production of Mary Poppins at Rainbow Stage! Growing up, Tyler trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hip, Lyrical Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Tap competing internationally on several occasions at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships in Germany where he placed 1st overall in the solo division in 2009.

Tyler has worked as a Musical Theatre instructor and choreographer for almost 10 years and is excited for the opportunity to work with the talented students at Marquis this upcoming dance season.
